“Finding Nemo” won the 2003 Academy Award® for best animated feature; the film was nominated for three additional Oscars® (original screenplay, original score, sound editing). It was also nominated  for a Golden Globe® Award for best motion picture–comedy or musical. In 2008, the American Film Institute named “Finding Nemo” among the top 10 greatest animated films ever made. At the time of its release, “Finding Nemo” was the highest grossing G-rated movie of all time. It’s the fifth highest grossing animated film worldwide. The film has more than 19 million Likes on Facebook, and Dory—with more than 25 million—is the most liked individual character from a Disney or Disney•Pixar film. And now the story continues!

“Finding Nemo” has been one of my family’s favorite films and we get to re-live it with each visit to Walt Disney World Resort when we get to The Seas with Nemo and Friends at EPCOT. I’m really counting down for “Finding Dory” and can’t wait to see what Pixar has in store for us when it’s finished! Right off the bat – “sleep swimming” just cracks me up! I can’t wait to see if she remembers!

At long last, the new teaser trailer and poster for DISNEY•PIXAR’s FINDING DORY is now available.

Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory” reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale?

Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) is living a quiet life among the clown fish, but after going with Nemo on a class trip to see manta rays migrate back home, her home sickness leads the forgetful Dory on a quest to find where she came from. Finding Dory” features some of our favorites from “Finding Nemo” ~ Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang, among others. Partially set along the California coastline, the story welcomes a host of new characters, including Dory’s parents voiced by Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy. The movie will be mostly set at the California Marine Biology Institute, a huge complex of sea life rehabilitation and aquarium, where Dory was born and raised and we will get to meet new characters, like an octopus, sea lions, and a beluga whale.

wdstudiosDirected by Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo,” “WALL•E”) and produced by Lindsey Collins (co-producer “WALL•E”), the film features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton.  “Finding Dory” swims into theaters June 17, 2016
